Sadly, No Tatting

The weather is ridiculous in Minnesota this winter!  I should have lots of time to tat since we are not spending time outside, but I'm on a little break and doing some major home organization as well as hitting the gym 3-4 times a week.  On top of working all day.  I just don't feel like doing much of anything by the time I can sit down and concentrate!  (I am, however, eyeing up that new Lizbeth Twirlz thread . . . )

In any case, it's SO cold here that schools are closed for the third time this month.  Due to extremely cold wind chills.  We have a wind chill advisory in effect until tomorrow . . . it's about -30+ degrees Fahrenheit out there.  And we are supposed to get this again next week.  With +30 temps in between, mind you.  Nothing like a 60 degree or more fluctuation over just a few days.

I think it's so cold my phone can't compute the weather!

  1. I pay attention to the weather in Minnesota, and I'm so happy we live in Illinois. It's so much warmer here. We've only missed two days of school because of the cold. :-)

I hope the weather warms up for you soon!

  2. He he, we have the same weather, it was -43 wind chill when we got up this morning. the actual temp was -22. but as long as the busses start, then we have school, unless it is blowing snow, then schools are late or closed.

  3. Sounds very cold, stay warm and safe, We have rain, as I said on my blog from the 12th December to 13th January we had one fine day.and it still has not stopped raining, a large area of Somerset is under water, villages cut off, today more rain and strong winds which will continue over the weekend. Many rivers have burst there banks, and lots of flooding in Southern England if we get much more we will floating over the pond to you.
