I was thinking about you today when I saw on the news that we were getting rain but the snow was heading your way. We already had snow - in October!! - though it only covered the grass for a little while before it melted. It does look like it could be a long winter. Stay warm!
You have the snow we have the rain, the last two weeks have been very bad here in the south of the UK. Hope it does not make your winter too long and it goes quickly. Margaret

Nothing but rain here, but that's okay. I don't think I'm quite ready for snow yet!
