Finally! Halla-frickin-loo-yah! Ta Da!
Excuse my excitement :)
Feels like it took forever to get this round done.
Actually, it took 12 hours and 50 minutes.
Yep. F. O. R. E. V. E. R.
I'm not particularly proud of my tatting on this round, but it really is a nice addition - definitely adds something appealing to the overall look. It's going to need a good washing and re-blocking when it's complete though, I've been spraying each round with my 'Best Press' so that everything lays nice and flat for tatting the next round. [Fussy, fussy!]
When I was taking these photos, I noticed how the doily matches my Easter tablecloth and the thread on one of my eggs. I guess I really associate that Springtime Lizbeth with Spring!
I was watching for a place to add that variegated thread again, and I think the next round will be the perfect place to do it. Now I'm anxious to get going on it - I think it will be a more enjoyable, relaxing round. And quicker. Maybe?
Oh yes, looking Gorgeous :-D Thumbs up !
ReplyDeleteIt looks so good! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI HAD to have a little break with the little blue motif - you will understand, I am quite sure, once you begin that final row... It is a bugger! Took me f-o-r-e-v-e-r! I do understand. : )
I have but one repeat left and it will have to wait till tomorrow. I just cannot face any more tatting tonight! : ))
Pięknie wygląda ta serwetka.
ReplyDeleteI hated and loved this round, and now that you posted it you know why it is there, because it is absolutely beautiful! Well worth the time :)
ReplyDeleteP.S forgot to say they eggs are lovely too! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't made much progress on this round, but now I'm inspired. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWell, it sure is G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S!

ReplyDeleteThe doily looks great! You have every right to be excited!! I noticed right away how well it goes with the tablecloth and the tatting on the egg. All the pictures give the impression of spring.
